About Acede - Spanish Academy of Management
Since its founding in 1990, the Spanish Academy of Management (ACEDE) has become a key forum for academics dedicated to advancing quality research and teaching.
The Association currently has more than 800 members and is organized into “sections” (Strategy, Human Resources, Marketing, Financial Economics, Operations, International Management, Family Business, Entrepreneurship, Business and Society) that group members with similar academic and professional interests.
Each section conducts its own activities within the association’s framework, which include specialized workshops on teaching and research topics. They also provide access to a wide variety of resources through their own spaces on the web.
Additionally, ACEDE has a cross-disciplinary Early Career Network (ECN-ACEDE) that organizes various types of events to support and professionally develop our younger members.

25 years of ACEDE history

Commemorative book for the 25th anniversary of ACEDE
“The completion of a project of this nature reflects an understanding not only of the scientific endeavour itself but, in particular, of the deep-rooted spirit of cooperation among ACEDE’s members. Commemorating twenty-five years of growing cooperation within this institutional framework represents, within Spanish research culture itself, a major challenge—not only scientific but, above all, human.
It is this achievement of a new social dimension that lays the foundations for close and friendly cooperation among ACEDE members. Undoubtedly, this represents a significant learning experience for both individuals and the organisation, opening the door to the immediate future and paving the way for new challenges—both in the field of scientific development and its growing global reach, and in new approaches to the professional development of lecturers and researchers.
