Meetings and Seminars

The Entrepreneurship Section organizes three types of activities: meetings, seminars and workshops.

During the year, three regular Section meetings are held. Two of these coincide with the Annual ACEDE Conference and the International GEM-ACEDE Entrepreneurship Workshop. A third meeting is usually organized in January at the venue of the next Workshop.

Training for Section members takes place through seminars organised by the Research Committee. The upcoming seminars are:

  • Title: Using a hybrid PLS-SEM and fs/QCA methodology to improve the robustness of results.
Speaker: Job Rodrigo Alarcón (Universidad de Castilla la Mancha)
    Time: Tuesday 11 March 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00
  • Title: Theory development on entrepreneurship in the face of the crisis of scientific credibility
Speaker: Ana Bojica (Universidad de Granada)
    Time: Tuesday 20 May 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00

Annually, the International GEM-ACEDE Entrepreneurship Workshop is held. The ACEDE academic networks and the GEM Spain network jointly organize the event, which provides a platform to share research on the entrepreneurial phenomenon.

The XI International GEM-ACEDE Entrepreneurship Workshop will be held in Valencia. Full details will soon be available on the Workshop’s official website.
