Strategic Management

This section aims to promote scientific research and teaching in strategy, covering, among other topics: corporate and competitive strategies, corporate governance and CSR, knowledge and innovation management, organizational behavior and design, and information systems.

Since 2009, the section has organized an annual Workshop on business strategy. This forum presents and discusses the latest trends in strategy teaching and research.

Another initiative developed by the section is the periodic publication of a newsletter, launched in the fall of 2009. This newsletter not only disseminates the results of our research activities but also serves as an excellent tool for identifying new research and collaboration opportunities.

The Strategic Management section’s newsletter serves as a communication and dissemination tool among all members. It is published twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.

Each edition includes a welcome letter from the President and information on our section’s participation in the ACEDE National Congress, as well as various activities organized or co-organized by our section, particularly the Workshop and the pre-congress meeting.

Additionally, each issue features an interview section and an analysis section on a topic of interest in strategy. The newsletter also provides updates on section members (theses, awards, publications) and includes an announcements section about conferences, seminars, workshops, and journal call for papers that may be of interest.
