Strategic Management Section Workshop
The workshop will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 13 and throughout the morning and afternoon of Friday 14 February. The aim of the workshop is to discuss and reflect on how recent changes and challenges in the global economy and society affect the discipline of Strategic Management. We have structured the workshop into four sessions that will analyse various aspects of the proposed theme, enabling us to rethink the basic principles of our discipline, reflect on the concentration of decision-making power within companies, consider how academia can expand its capacity to influence and shape opinion, and discuss the teaching of Strategic Management subjects in the face of these major challenges.

We look forward to your participation and would be grateful if you could spread the word about this workshop as widely as possible amongst your colleagues and Master’s and PhD students. For the latter, we suggest that the workshop could be counted as a credit in the Training Activities Document required of PhD students on your programmes.
Paper Development Workshop
ACEDE’s Strategic management of ACEDE is pleased to announce the First Paper Development Workshop (PDW) on strategy. Its main aim is to help participants develop their research for publication in top-tier academic journals. We will be joined by Alberto Aragón (EiC, BRQ), Andrea Fosfuri (AE, Management Science), Caterina Moschieri (EiC, Strategic Organization) and Grazia Santangelo (EiC, Global Strategy Journal). It will take place at CUNEF University, Madrid, on 2 and 3 October 2025.
