What is ACEDE?
ACEDE (Spanish Academy of Management) is a Spanish academic association dedicated to the study, research, and teaching of business economics and management. Since its foundation in 1990, it has established itself as a key forum for lecturers and researchers in business management.
What is ACEDE’s mission?
ACEDE seeks to improve the management and direction of companies, as well as other public and private organizations, through rigorous research and transformative teaching. We are committed to actively collaborating with the global business community and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address current economic, social, and environmental challenges. Our purpose is to cultivate an academic environment that promotes the exchange of advanced ideas and reliable analytical methods, with the aspiration of achieving positive and lasting change in society.
What activities does ACEDE organize?
ACEDE develops numerous activities, including:
- An annual international conference where recent research is presented and discussed.
- Workshops, seminars, and thematic events focused on specific areas of business management.
- Scientific publications, such as the journal BRQ – Business Research Quarterly, indexed in international databases.
- Events for the Early Career Network (ECN–ACEDE) that foster professional development.
Who can become a member of ACEDE?
The association is open to academics, researchers, and professionals interested in business economics and management, both from Spain and abroad.
How is ACEDE structured?
ACEDE is organized into thematic sections that bring together members with similar interests, such as: Business Strategy, Human Resources, Marketing, Financial Economics, Entrepreneurship, Family Business, International Management, Operations and Technology Management, and Business and Society. Additionally, ACEDE has an Early Career Network (ECN-ACEDE).
